CONFERENCE GOAL
To provide a high intensity update on aspects of surgical pathology directed towards the needs of a busy pathologist working in a private practice setting. There will be particular emphasis on understanding recent advances in surgical pathology that impact daily practice, rationalizing the diagnostic approach to difficult cases and exposing participants to the pathology of newly described disease entities as well as providing an update on technology that is making the transition from research to the practical use.

- Practicing pathologists who want to update their skills and knowledge of the different subspecialties presented.
EDUCATIONAL METHODS
- Interactive presentations combing real time slide review with intercalated didactic presentations and unrushed question and answer sessions.
- All participants will be provided with a microscope for use at the conference.
- Educational material will consist of a set of glass slides representative of the cases to be discussed, a complete syllabus and a CD of all lectures in a PowerPoint format.
